Parking Regulations

All faculty, staff, students and visitors parking a vehicle at Saint Louis University must comply with 博彩网址大全 and state parking regulations, policies and procedures.

Parking Defined

Any unattended vehicle is defined as parked and must comply with all University parking regulations. You must park according to campus parking rules and regulations at all times. 

Without exception when parking on our lots or in our garages, you must park your vehicle between two white parallel parking stall lines or in front of an unpainted wheel stop. Do not park on or over the line, regardless of how others park.

Campus street parking is only valid if the curb is unpainted or if there is corresponding signage allowing parking (i.e. 与Laclede未粉刷的路缘相邻的米空间 Avenue). You must pay for the use of metered spaces regardless of duration during active times. Click here to learn more about our street parking options.

  • No Parking Areas: Parking is not permitted in areas not identified as valid parking spaces as outlined above. These areas do not require signage and often are unmarked.
  • Yellow or Red Curbs: Yellow or red markings designate fire lanes and no-parking areas. Parking in these areas is prohibited at all times with or without the presence of hazard lights.

  • Small/Compact Car Space: These spaces exist to allow drivers in a garage better visibility.
    Your vehicle must be no larger than 175 inches long by 68 inches wide by 57 inches high and must fit within the white stall lines and boundaries designated by the white dashed line. No trucks, SUVs, wagons, Jeeps or minivans are allowed. Crossovers are a subclass of SUVs and are not allowed in small/compact car spaces.

Overnight parking is available in the Olive and Laclede Garage visitor sections. No permits are required in visitor sections for overnight parking. Attendees simply will pay the machine upon exit using the ticket obtained upon entrance. Access to other areas for overnight parking requires license plate registration and purchase of a parking permit.

Game Day Parking

The parking procedure for Men's Basketball home games is as follows:

Fines are payable at the Parking, Card and Transportation Services office or online through NuPark within seven calendar days of the citation being issued (the day the ticket is issued is day one).

For plate numbers not registered to a student, faculty or staff member with an active permit, parking fees will double after 30 days if the ticket is not paid or appealed. 

The following fees will be assessed to the owner or operator of any vehicle on University property in violation of the parking regulations defined by the University. The registered permit holder is responsible for all parking violations attached to permitted vehicles. Appeal Procedure

A parking citation may be appealed by filing an appeal online within 7 calendar days of the citation being issued (the day the ticket was issued is day one). To file an 上诉,按以下步骤进行:

Removal and Impoundment

Tailgating

Saint Louis University promotes community-building activities for its faculty, staff, students, and visitors, and recognizes that tailgating has the potential to enhance the event experience within a safe, responsible, and controlled environment.

Violations

Any violation of these terms may result in loss of tailgating privileges, criminal prosecution and/or disciplinary action through the Office of Student Responsibility and Community Standards if the violator is a 博彩网址大全 student.

  9. Individuals consuming alcohol may be asked to provide legal identification and proof of age to a campus safety office or local law enforcement officer.

  11. No alcoholic beverages may be taken into any athletic facility or into an event space.
  12. Drinking games (including, but not limited to beer pong, flip cup and other table games) and the use of devices intended to accelerate the consumption of alcohol (included, but not limited to funnels or beer bongs) are prohibited.
  13. The unlawful possession, distribution or use of any drug or controlled substance is prohibited on campus, and such laws shall be enforced in tailgating areas.
  14. Students may also be subject to discipline under the student code of conduct. Employees may also be subject to discipline under employee disciplinary processes.

Any person damaging University property shall be responsible for the cost of repairs.

Prohibited Items

When planning for your tailgate, please note the following items are not permitted:

  • Amplified sound – Speakers that stand alone, are excessively loud or are connected to an amplifier.
